After 20 years of service to its community, The Dan Marino Foundation was still using its original logo and tagline which reflected their original focus on children with no evidence of their mission evolution. To better reflect their expanded mission and broadened target audience, the Foundation called on Pink to help them develop a new brand identity that better reflected the forward-thinking and innovative nature of their programs.
Through our Brand Development Discovery process Pink was able to identify the values and expanded offerings that were key components of the refined mission of the Dan Marino Foundation. We evolved their original visual identity that featured small hand drawn hands reflecting their original focus on small children, to a bolder more mature logo without a graphic that limited their scope of services. This new look not only reflected their broadened focus on service beneficiaries, but their expanded mission to provide technology-driven assets to facilitate career readiness in adults with developmental disabilities. Additionally, The Pink Collective added a tagline: “Together we WIN” to reflect their commitment to effectively serve the neurodiverse community as a resource-focused teammate. “WIN” was capitalized as a reference to its role as an acronym reflecting the core values of the internal team: Work, Innovate, Nurture. Together we Work, Innovate and Nurture became an internal culture call to action and a brand statement declaring the value proposition of the Foundation to its target stakeholders.
